July 23 Czech BlogI got to work with an amazingly smart guy at TechEd 2005. We worked in the Hands-On Labs together. Tomas Havetta always had a smile for everyone, and an amazing depth of knowledge. July 06 MIT Education for Free?MIT's OpenCourseWare project was started as a free and open educational resource for faculty, students and self-learners around the world. There are now materials available for over 500 of MIT's regularly taught courses (over 120 in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department). Courses are in all MIT departments (from Aeronautics to Writing). You don't have to register or pay any fees (but that means no degree or certificate, and no access to faculty).
